Waterman The Movie

Just to expand on the official NG newspost on the matter:

Just pledged to the Waterman Kickstarter, so I thought I'd also try and convince you to as well.

As a little background, I'm not associated in any way with it's production, I've just been waiting LITERALLY YEARS for this to happen.

Waterman is likely my favourite Flash series of all time, and I think everyone who's not familiar should check it out and pledge for the following reasons.

1: It's not even a donation - I personally donated $100 towards the cause (though of course less would be fine, or more would be awesome). Do you see the rewards you get for $100? I get Tshirt, DVD and Signed Poster. It's more like a pre-order than a donation.

2: It's freakin' Waterman. This is the series that got me seriously interested in Newgrounds as more than just a place to visit every so often during School Classes.

3: You're supporting an independant Flash artist. Sure the multitude of Indie Games Indie Films coming out are a noble cause, spreading the word etc, but this is funding an NG Legend do what needs to be done. Also, it's a freakin' Waterman full length feature.

NOW QUICKLY, INTO THE TIME RIFT! *Smash!*

Me too. If I could donate more at the moment I totally would, especially if it got me a character part, that would be epic.

I remember Waterman! It was really funny n good. A full length film would be fabulous, but $35,000? Isn't this made out of tweenin shapes around? What?
Is that really Leslie Nielsen? What?? Bacones aaarrrrgghh
Also I think this whole indie kickstarter site is kind of burning itself out with so many whacky ideas.

$35,000 won't go far when its over time and hiring help to make it truly pro. And also, yeah it's really Leslie Nielson, and apparently all of his stuff is already done..

It's being made by a made by a production company, not just him. That should justify the $35k thing. I've seen a screenshot and it looks fantastic; not like a flash animation.
